X300 – Australian Psychological Survival Horror Game
About X300
X300 is an Australian psychological survival horror game set within a secret Cold War nuclear facility hidden deep beneath the remote Australian outback. Combining atmospheric horror, first-person survival horror gameplay, puzzle-solving, exploration, and story-driven suspense, X300 immerses players in a terrifying world shaped by Cold War paranoia, abandoned experiments, and the isolation of the Australian desert.
Developed by Covyne Entertainment, X300 blends retro-futuristic horror aesthetics with tense exploration, environmental storytelling, and survival mechanics inspired by classic psychological survival horror games. Players must uncover the truth behind a forgotten military installation where time distortions, failed experiments, and dangerous survivors still haunt the decaying underground complex.
Story
After receiving disturbing messages from a missing family member, players journey into the Australian outback to investigate the ruins of a long-abandoned Cold War research facility known only as X300. What begins as a search operation quickly becomes a descent into isolation, paranoia, and psychological terror.
Deep beneath the desert lies a secret nuclear complex where dangerous experiments fractured reality itself. Inside the facility, players encounter mutated wildlife, unstable survivors trapped in outdated military routines, abandoned scientific technology, and terrifying anomalies that blur the line between past and present.
As the mystery unfolds, players are pulled into fragments of the 1950s, witnessing the facility during its operational peak while uncovering the horrifying consequences left behind decades later.

The X300 Dossier System
One of X300’s most unique features is its immersive end-game dossier system. Throughout the game, player actions, decisions, exploration habits, survival behavior, and psychological responses are quietly monitored by the facility.
At the conclusion of the experience, players receive a classified Cold War-style dossier documenting their observed behavior inside the X300 complex. Presented as an official government evaluation file, the dossier analyzes how the player approached survival, stress, exploration, decision-making, and encounters throughout the facility.
No two reports may feel exactly the same, encouraging replayability, discussion, and deeper interpretation of the events inside X300.
Inspired by Cold War psychological profiling, institutional paranoia, and retro-futuristic military documentation, the dossier system expands X300 beyond traditional survival horror into a uniquely immersive psychological experience.
