Why isn’t CADET Pro on the Unity Asset Store?

Unity’s terms and conditions don’t allow plugins to execute third‑party binaries. CADET Pro relies on external tools for Steam, Epic Games Store, and macOS notarization - all of which are third‑party executables. Because of this restriction, CADET Pro can’t be listed on the Unity Asset Store.

Are the third‑party executables included with CADET Pro?

CADET Pro provides a convenient publishing panel that lets you download the required third‑party binaries with a single click. You can also download them manually from their official sources and configure them inside CADET if you prefer.

How will I receive CADET Pro after purchase?

After purchasing CADET Pro, the plugin will be emailed directly to you.

How do I install CADET Pro if it’s not on the Unity Asset Store or Package Manager?

Simply delete any existing version of CADET (including the free version) from: “Assets/Covyne/Cadet” Then drag the new plugin file into your Unity Project window to install it. Your existing profile configurations will remain intact in the “Assets/Config/Covyne/Cadet” folder.

How will I receive updates to CADET Pro?

Whenever an update is released, we’ll email the latest version to the address you used during purchase.
